I had cause to visit Stuart Winter with a persistent blocked nose problem. He very quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem and prescribed a course of treatment, which I'm pleased to say has been most effective.
He was also carefully explained any other treatments that could be offered should they be needed.

Very straightforward to book an appointment via secretary Kate
who was friendly and helpful.
Only waited a week to be seen.
Professor Winter was professional and very thorough.
The treatment options were discussed and after using th
prescribed medication i am making progress ,which is a
great relief after having a throat problems for 5
Months. I am continuing with recommended treatment
and have confidence that if I have further problems
I can see him again for review.
This is my first experience of private health care

MR Winter transferred me from the Head and Neck department at the Churchill Hospital to the Surgical Ward at the John Ratcliff Hospital after the test showed that I had a cancerous tumor in the right side of my neck. I was transferred because MR Winter did not to leave my operation until his next slot was available at the Churchill Hospital.
The operation went well and treatment and after care from all of the staff at the John Ratcliff Hospital was excellent.
MR Winter is one of the best surgeons I have ever met. He is always willing to explain the results from all of the scans, test, diagnostics and possible outcome from the operation. Also the effects from radiation treatment, after the operation, and all of the after care treatment that followed. He is a very kind and understanding person, he is very approachable and willing to listen.
